The Coffee Creek Farmers Market will hold its Opening Day on Wednesday April 19th and will run from 3-7pm every Wednesday in the Coffee Creek Pavilion Parking Lot, located at 178 E Sidewalk Rd, Chesterton, Indiana. The outdoor market will run through November 1st.
Ringing the opening bell on Opening Day will be Dave Cincoski, Chesterton Town Manager. There will also be a Bingo game with prizes, and market tote bags will be for sale, featuring art by local artist Casey King.
Weekly vendors will provide vegetable, flower, and herb transplants; fresh produce; culinary herbs; local eggs and meat varieties; locally foraged mushrooms; flowers; sourdough bread; desserts and other baked goods; peanut butter and more. Other vendors will also offer handmade soaps; artisan jewelry; locally roasted coffee; pasta; sandwiches; and wood-fired pizza.
All items are locally grown or made by local small businesses. Many business owners are present at the market each week.
